Let's create something wonderful together!
I would be honored to make something just for you
How it works
Things to consider
Once you’ve decided to have artwork created just for your space, there are several things to think about before we get into the process.
As an artist, I am always quite honored when someone invites me to create special pieces. There are many questions I’ll be asking. You’ll want to gather your thoughts before we connect to talk it through. I want to be able to make the best work I possibly can for you, so I encourage you to reflect on the following details prior to our meeting. .
Basics like the size of the piece you’d like, and whether a horizontal or vertical orientation. Is it for a specific place in your home or office? Will you want it to be a focal point in your room? Perhaps you are celebrating a milestone in life you want to commemorate? Are you interested in a certain color palette that brings you joy or serenity?
What about a set of paintings? Would a set of three related pieces work better in your space? This is called a “triptych”- it just means a set of three. Are there any particular features you want to have included? Is there a theme you are attracted to?
Being familiar with my work, you know that I have a love of bright colors, translucent paints, and many, many layers of paint. I adore line and natural elements. Perhaps there are qualities in some of my work you particularly enjoy- make note of those.
After you have submitted the inquiry e-mail form, I will reach out to you to schedule a time to discuss your needs. All of my work is base-priced by size, and a commissioning fee is determined by the scope of the project. After an agreement is reached, a contract with details and terms will be produced for clarity. Usually, after an initial installment is made, then I can begin the project.
I hope this has helped you think more about what you want in a custom art piece, and answered some of your questions. As you think of others, please make note and bring them to our conversation. I am thrilled to be able to work on something special, just for you!
